Environmental Issues

Recycling of waste materials, especially paper and cardboard, is one of the most important acts of respect towards the environment that should be part of any modern society. This is our basic principle in Reciclajes Dolaf and we consider this option is always more desirable than incineration or controlled dumping, because it reduces negative impact on the environment and contributes to the replacement of wood as a raw material in paper manufacturing.

The advantages of using used paper are countless, and to mention but a few, we can say that

• Less space is needed for dumps.
• Less noxious gas emissions are produced than, for example, in incineration.
• Less natural resources ( water, wood, energy ) are used.
